Resolution of Tax Matters
Resolution of tax matters for low income taxpayers is available year round from Monday to Sunday by appointment only. This service is offered through Harrison Tax Non Profit Association which was created in December of 2009. If you qualify, tax debts under $50,000 can be settled by our IRS Enrolled Agents and other qualified representatives that have volunteered their services. Offered with be tax preparation and representation with the objective of resolving tax matters for low income taxpayers. Such services as preventing or stopping wage garnishments, levies and liens, the offer-in-compromise, negotiation of an installment agreement, not collectable status, penalty abatement and assistance with hardships will be offered. Representation will be offered pro bono or at a minimal fee plus out-of-pocket costs for services such as printing, photocopying, and mailing.
